Joshua sits in the middle of Johnson County between Burleson and Cleburne, and the properties here look different from a tight city subdivision. Lots are bigger, driveways run longer, and a lot of homes sit back off the road on acreage. That changes the math on what material makes sense — and it's the first thing we talk through when we come out to look at a job.
Concrete driveways, patios, and slabs. For approaches, aprons, patios, sidewalks, and shop or barn slabs, concrete is the long-haul answer. The Johnson County clay under Joshua swells and shrinks hard with the seasons, so we compact and prep the base before anything gets poured and cure it properly through the Texas heat. Skipping that step is exactly why so many local driveways spider-crack in their first few years.
Asphalt paving for long driveways and lots. When a driveway runs a few hundred feet back from FM 917 or CR frontage, asphalt usually costs meaningfully less per square foot than concrete and goes down faster. We do full-depth paving, overlays, pothole and edge repair, seal coating, and striping. Seal coating every few years is cheap insurance in this climate — it's the difference between resurfacing and repaving.
Roof repair and replacement. Joshua is squarely in the North Texas hail corridor, and spring storms here regularly total roofs. We give straight inspections: if it's a repair, we say it's a repair. When it is a full replacement, we install shingle and metal roofs and will work through the insurance claim with you rather than leaving you to fight it.
